I think this works better if you use your serums first and then apply the snail mucin and follow with moisturizer. It feels light weight in the skin and it absorbs super fast. My skin feels much softer using this product I use it every day and a small amount goes along way .

It doesn't break me out, and I do think it helps when used with another moisturizer during dry skin spells... but it never seems to soak in for me? I don't know if it's supposed to, but when I leave it on my face it basically just becomes oil on my skin (my face becomes so wet and shiny, like I poured olive oil on it)? Again, cause it doesn't cause irritation, I'll probably keep it, but I think using a sheet mask leaves the face more hydrated than this and with a better end feeling....

I remember a makeup artist asking me what I used and whatever it was to keep using it. This was the difference adding it to my routine.It helps so much with hydration and doesn't interfere with makeup.My routine is simple - cleanse, snail mucin, moisturizer. This is the routine most days of the week.

It's not super sticky like you'd expect, there's definitely viscosity behind it and... I'd call it grip more than stick, you're not like gonna be oozing to your next work meeting or anything lol. I feel like a glowing goddess, you only need one pump and BAM your whole face and neck are covered, a great value for such a big bottle of it. COSRX are a great company too, they make quality skincare products. I couple this with their Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask and it's like.... He’s sad because he thought they were cute but I’m ecstatic! I wish I had before and after pics to prove it but please take me at my word.Snail mucin contains antioxidants that may help reduce signs of aging like wrinkles, uneven skin tone and sagging. Studies indicate that snail mucin helps with skin regeneration and protects against damaging free radicals. Buy it! You won’t be disappointed. 5.0 out of 5 stars I am not sure if it is doing anything I give this five stars but that is because so far it seems pretty gentle on my skin and it feels wonderful when I put it on. I don't mind the slick slimy feel of it at all because I don't have that sort of hang up about lotions, creams, serums. What I do care about is whether its gentle, and if it helps at all. I just can say whether it is helping my skin or not, but it doesn't seem to be hurting either. Whether I will buy more in the future is anyone's guess.

This co-worker didn't have great skin (age 29), and then she started coming in looking better, and better. Her skin was becoming supple, even, and radiant. I asked her what changed and she said she had been using this product. So the entire office got it (she looked that good). It's my holy grail...I have naturally dry skin, so it keeps my skin supple...even in the dry desert heat that I now live in. I use it every morning and evening after toning with a rose water toner. 5.0 out of 5 stars Moist and soft skin with Snail Mucin serum I put it on after a light peptide cosrx serum and while just a bit damp put two pumps of snail mucin on. Let dry and add moisturizer if u like. Or add before it dries . Either way. Then you can add primer and makeup if u wear makeup. Or I just add a little bronzer or blush and concealer and skip foundation. But makeup goes on over it easy as well. Only using a couple weeks and skin is plumper and less dry with the combo cosrx 6 peptides followed by the snail mucin. 5.0 out of 5 stars Can’t be without this product I been using this product for years and is been one of those product that become essential in my skin care routine, I can used every day but I don’t really needed, 2 to 3 times a week is more than enough or when I see that my skin is irritated from a new products or have some breakouts this essence come to the rescue and never disappoint me, the consistency of this product is a clear kind of gel like and feels a bid tacky when I applying but spreads really well and after is on, my skin absorb it really well and can be layered very easy with any other products before or after. 5.0 out of 5 stars It's lovely I kept meaning to use this stuff, but also kept forgetting. Glad I purchased this. I'm 35, and need to stick to some skin care routine. It leaves my skin feeling soft after it dries. You don't need much. I pump once for one side of my face, then the other, etc. I have a VERY big issue with sensation on my face from products, which is why I haven't kept up. This I can tell will be easy to maintain. Once it dries, you feel NOTHING. No slight tacky feeling, absolutely nothing. Only if you don't layer it on like crazy. I would recommend making sure your face is wet/moist first so it absorbs better, but once it has, it feels like your own skin without any products put onto it. I'm going to try their other stuff.

I am a male for reference. Seems to be helping scars and red spots? Idk haven't decided if I will reorder or if its a gimmick. I got them on sale, not sure I would pay full price for this.I was breaking out at first when used, but had made the mistake of changing multiple products at once– DON'T DO THAT, no matter how tempting it is. Change one at a time so you can see what may be causing problems. Narrowed it down and don't think it was this, as the breakouts stopped after stopping a different product (from another brand).

That said, if it's too expensive or time consuming, I'm probably not interested. I fell prey to an add for this. It's a reasonable price and a huge bottle as far as similar products go. A little goes a long way, no scent or color, a light texture and I definitely see a difference in my skin. Fine lines are gone, leaves my face soft and smooth. When I first put it on, it's slimy & my skin tingles a little (nothing bad), then it dries & leaves my skin tacky feeling (don't like that part so much). After washing my face the next morning, my skin is baby smooth (love that part!). I can tell that my VERY fine lines have plumped out after use. Skin has a little glow to it. I use this in conjunction with tretinoin and it does unfortunately exacerbate the peeling, but the overall appearance of my skin is very improved with this serum. Pair it with the mucin moisturizer and it's a power duo! Bottle lasts a long time, which is a huge plus. Worth the money!

It is a lightweight, thin consistency with a slightly slimy texture. But it melts into the skin effortlessly once on. One pump is enough for my face. I have dry skin, and this leaves me soft and ready for the next step. It works great at hydration and I follow it up with other moisturizing products. However, late night Amazon searching led me to this company and for the price I just said screw it and bought it. Along with purchasing PAULAS CHOICE TONER, literally after the first night I noticed a difference.I’m only 1 week in and my pores literally are almost non existent? I’m sorry what? lol it’s definitely a bit of a funky texture at first but it does dry.I have normal to oily skin and most products (especially expensive ones) just make me so shiny and I hate it. I was pleased to find that the skin of my dreams in a Korean beauty inspired routine. The best part is that nearly all the products I tried were relatively inexpensive and readily available from amazon. My acne is non-existent now and the tone and texture of my skin is so supple and smooth. I have provided a list of my routine below which includes this product. I’m not saying this is the best or only way to achieve my results, I just thought others would be interested in what I used.*indicates review for this productAM- hydrating, lightweight, works under makeupCleanser - BOOTS Botanics All Bright Gentle Cleansing Cream (purchased from Ulta for a fraction of the price $6.99)First Toner- Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater, 4 oz. – $7.00 - This is like a drink of water for your face. I love this stuff and will spray again randomly throughout the day whenever I need a refresher. The aroma is a little strong for my liking but (almost like perfume) but I’m willing to overlook since the rose and aloe does so much for my skin. I used to use just straight rose water which has a very present smell but I like the spray delivery of this product better.Moisturizing Toner- [Skin Food] Premium Avocado Rich Toner 180ml –$12.98 - I can’t say enough about this. It’s a nice thick toner much more substantial that the western watery toners I was used to. The smell of this is very bright and green (that’s the best way I can think of to explain it) I love the smell! Every now and then I will smell it on my face and it gives me an invigorating boost. This toner works well to moisturize and calm my skin and will certainly be re-purchasing. A little goes a long way with this stuff so that won’t be for quite some time!Treatment- Body Merry Hyaluronic Acid Serum for Anti-aging with Vitamic C and Natural Green Tea, 2 Oz – $13.99 - I use this during the day to keep my skin feeling hydrated and give my skin the boost of anti-oxidants to help combat ageing. This is a lightweight serum (which is why I use it under my makeup) but it does take some time to fully absorb in and dry on my skin. After I put this on I generally go and have breakfast before coming back to finish. The aroma leans more towards green tea which again I find refreshing for the morning. The syrup is a milky and slightly viscous with minimal stickiness.Eye Cream- Loreal Revitalift Eye Cream 0.5 Ounce (14ml) (14ml) – (Purchased from Ulta)Face Cream- [MIZON] Snail Recovery Gel Cream 45ml (1.52 fl.oz.) Pack of 2 – $9.99/ 2-pack - Lightweight moisturizer which works perfectly under makeup. This product doesn’t’ have much of a smell. The consistency is unique halfway between a gel and a cream. Glides on smoothly and provides a decent amount of hydration when combines with my other hydrating products. I don’t like to use occlusive products during the day and this moisturizer fits the bill.PM-all about Snail- Repair, Hydrated, MoisturizeMakeup Remover- Boots Botanics All Bright Soothing Eye Make-up Remover 5 oz. – Purchased at Ulta for a fraction of the price - $6.99Double Cleanse - [Total 2Pcs] The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Cleansing Oil + Foam SET –$14.21 - The oil cleanser feels light and silky. At night, I massage 1 pump into my skin and works well to dissolve the days make-up. Once I am done breaking down all the makeup, I use water to get some of it off before moving to the foam cleanser. My only complaint is that the fragrance is a little strong and can burn my eyes if I’m not careful. It leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. The foam cleanser works well to clean off the oil left on my face. The foam cleanser aroma is a lot more tolerable to me. It comes out of the tube a shimmery white color and is Very gentle. These two cleansers work well to get my face clean and ready for treatments without that typical tight feeling. They leave my skin soft and moisturized.Exfoliation - Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion & Peel System Microdermabrasion Treatment 1 Kit - $21.99 - one a week - I used to use philosophy's microderm kit but this one offers the same exact results for 1/2 of the price. This exfoliator leaves my skin feeling baby soft but it does seem a tad harsh so I don't like to use it too frequently. I love the fresh citrus smell of the crystals and the warming foaming action once you put on the activator. Since I only use this once a week it lasts for a VERY long time and is totally worth the price.Toner- [Skin Food] Premium Avocado Rich Toner 180ml –$12.98 I can’t say enough about this. It’s a nice thick toner much more substantial that the western watery toners I was used to. There is no smell to speak of but it does have a slimy snail-y texture ( it is 96% slime!) and can be a bit tacky once its all said and done. I have also used this on some iron burns to help it heal faster and minimize scaring with a lot of success.Treatment- MIZON Snail Repair Intensive Ampoule - Anti Wrinkle - Multi Function Formula - $11.43 - Anti Wrinkle - Multi Function Formula- Clear viscous liquid. Not nearly as slimy as the essence. No smell, absorbs quickly. I focus heavily on the snail products at night because I read that the copper peptides naturally contained in the snail canalter the effectiveness of the vitamin C and vice versa.Spot Treatment- [MIZON] Acence Blemish Out Pink Spot 30ml – $14.95 - Use only as needed – Works wonders to diminish blemishes overnight. I used this quite frequently when I first started but after a while using all these products I didn’t have any acne to speak of!Sheet Mask - Dermal Korea Collagen Essence Full Face Facial Mask Sheet, 16 Combo Pack – $10.40 - I use once a week. I know that sheet masks are the totally hot thing in Korean beauty but I don’t think they do much for me other than a relaxing home spa experience. I just don’t see that they provide much and probably will not be buying more.Eye Cream- MIZON Korean Cosmetics Snail Repair Eye Cream, 1 Ounce 1 Ounce – $13.98 - Light weight, absorbs quickly. The container is quite generous and a little will go a long way. I think I will have this for a while! It doesn’t have any smell.Face Cream- MIZON Black Snail All In One Cream, 2.40 Ounce –$10.49 - Like all of the Mizon Snail products I have tried this is a very easy introduction into the world of snail skin care. It has minimum smell and lightweight texture. Minimal slime factor, you wouldn’t even know it was snail in a blind comparison. It has a off white color and a lightweight consistency. It doesn’t work wall as an occlusive if that’s what you want you may need to add a different moisturizer at night.Face Oils- I use a mixture of two oils applied at once: Radha Beauty Rosehip Oil 4 oz - 100% Pure Cold Pressed Certified Organic . - $13.95 - and Radha Beauty Moroccan Argan Oil for Hair, Face & Skin 4 oz - USDA Organic 100% Pure Cold pressed Virgin Oil From Morocco - By Radha Beauty –$12.95 - I like to use the oils last because I feel like it really seals everything in and provides moisture to last me through the night. My skin is oily/combo skin with some small blemishes and I have noticed it's less oily when I use this. It also looks clearer after only 2 applications. No flaky skin patches either. After applying it to my clean face, I found that it left my skin nicely moisturized, pleasantly plump, and with no residue the next morning. It also gave my face a lovely glow, which I was really pleased with. When my daughter eventually tried it on her teenage skin, I noticed an immediate improvement, and she had a beautiful rosy glow. Honestly I don't care what it’s made by or with lol it makes my skin feel smooth and supple all day. Ive barely put a dent into after weeks of using it twice a day. 4.0 out of 5 stars Significant improvements always have on hand I have maturing skin, lines, wrinkles, sagging, frown lines, discoloration. I was using another big brand, had been for a few years and I was no longer seeing benefits. My daughter was already using Corsx and was educated on it so I decided to try it. I started out with a small travel bottle to try. I fell in love with the improvements I began to see within a few days. Now I am on this bottle I ordered but it’s been 5 months now I have been using this 99% of the time in my skincare routine twice a day. It’s a little slimy like texture, but always so cooling when first applied helping your skin to feel instantly refreshed. My maturing skin is definitely improving. So bye to HH, hello Corsx. I look forward to trying other Corsx products as well. I use two squirts right after toner, making sure your skin is still wet and lightly pat the mucin onto your face and neck. 5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing stuff I tried this and became hooked. It’s so hydrating and not tacky or sticky. I have rocasea, but it’s been soothing my for my sensitive skin. The texture can be compared to a mucusy substance that is often found coming out of a purple-headed yogurt slinger. Putting bodily fluids from a snail on your face is something that might take getting used to, but I promise this stuff is quality and I will be adopting it for as long as it exists. 21 people found this helpful

I would say worth it.. it’s cheaper .. odourless , not so sticky .. you can feel the smoothness in your skin from first use . 5.0 out of 5 stars Game Changer for Red Patches & Pigmentation/Good for Gua Sha For the past several years I have had moderate redness on my cheeks and chin, even with using gentle cleansers and moisturizing. My mom has rosacea so it's possible that's in my genes. I always had to cover up this redness with concealer but it bummed me out that I didn't feel confident without makeup on. Fast forward to buying this product and using it for about a month-- my inflammation/red patches are basically gone and my skin tone is so much more even! Another huge plus: because this product has drastically reduced the inflammation, it has also reduced the appearance of the red pigmentation from my acne scars. They look WAY less pronounced now and I'm amazed! Using this product has really increased my confidence when leaving the house without makeup. My skin looks healthier and is more moisturized. It is also an excellent addition to my morning gua sha routine because of its slippery texture. 5.0 out of 5 stars I'm on my third bottle. I've been using the COSRX Snail Mucin for a long time and am on my third bottle. I find it very soothing on my skin and have never had a reaction to it. My skin appears brighter and more hydrated when I'm using it. I've noticed an increased healing time if I have any irritation. When I skip it for a few days, I do lose that glow. I was previously using Lancôme serum which costs almost 10x the price of this product but cannot even compare. This serum is worth every penny and more. I’ll take a few pumps and really focus it on my nose and chin for a few mins and I’ll start to get those little sebaceous filaments on my fingers. I am 82 and believe it this product has flattened my wrinkles in 30 days.I use the oroduct 2 times daily after washing my face. Haven 't used it enough to know if it works for wrinkles but I don't care for the slimy texture, however, it dries nice with no sticky feel and most important, for me, no smell! I can't stand all the fragrance so many of these products have, this has no noticeable smell.

I've been using the serum for a few weeks, and I really like it. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, but it does leave my skin soft I believe smoother. (I do read reviews for everything I buy the first time). This stuff actually does what it says. I’ve been using this for several weeks now and I am seeing a visible difference in my skin texture and appearance. Childhood years of being a sun worshiper in Arizona without UV protection has done it damage. Plus losing a great deal of weight I’d carried for many years and the resulting loss of muscle tone and stretched skin (Mounjaro side effects). Returning back to Arizona dry heat after 16 years in the rainforest of Southeast Alaska aged me 10 years immediately.I’ve spent a fortune on expensive creams, facial masks, electronic devices etc. and none of them gave me the results this serum does. This snail mucin is slowly improving my texture in such a short time, which I love the most, but it’s also helping my skin peel. I am beyond happy because along with texture, I’m riddled with dark spots. My only gripe is that it’s not moisturizing enough. I have already purchased the Snail Mucin Cream to go with the essence. 5.0 out of 5 stars ummm... Yup, I bought Snail Mucin. ick.I do use it, though. I put it on after cleansing, and then a facial serum, and THEN a moisturizer.I'm thinking the sticky-ness will help the serum absorb better. Y'know, like primer you put on before foundation.
